Let’s do this thing.

I know, some days it is impossible to stay motivated. This is coming from someone whose home is an official “no complacency zone.”

But now is the time to tap into our deepest activist/organizer/teacher/historian/ecologist/artist/journalist/neighbor/friend/parent/child selves and remember what it means to make a difference.

As Graham Nash once sang, “We can change the world, Rearrange the world, It’s dying, To get better.”

First up on my priority list is changing the profile of the United States Senate.

All eleven Democratic women running for Senate this year are worthy of our unbridled support. Some will actually win!!

Please do what you can. These nine have the best chances, but only with our financial contributions. If you live in one of these states you should definitely get a yard sign at the very least!!

ALASKA Mary Peltola marypeltola.com

ARKANSAS Hallie Shoffner hallieshoffner.com

FLORIDA Angie Nixon angienixon.com

ILLINOIS Juliana Stratton Juliana Stratton.com

MINNESOTA Peggy Flanagan peggyflanagan.com

OKLAHOMA Jasmine Thomas jasmineforok.com

SOUTH CAROLINA Annie Andrews drannieandrews.com

TENNESSEE Marquita Bradshaw marquitabradshaw.com

WEST VIRGINIA Rachel Fetty-Anderson fettyandersonforsenate.com

The other two candidates are in Montana and Nebraska, and while the odds are also stacked against other contenders in red states (think Tennessee and Oklahoma), the ones above have solid ground games and a little extra cash can make all the difference.
